Job Title: Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPB) Support and Development Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Oracle EPB Support and Development Specialist to join our Business Finance team. This role will play a critical part in supporting the day-to-day maintenance and deployment of our existing EPB application.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support existing EPB applications throughout month-end and forecast cycles, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements for new features or enhancements, design and develop functionalities, and implement modifications while configuring and customizing EPB to meet evolving business needs.
  • Manage data loads, integrations, and ensure data quality for planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, collaborating cross-functionally with ERP and HR systems.
  • Monitor and optimize EPB application performance by tuning calculations, business rules, and data loads, conducting regular performance reviews, and implementing necessary improvements.
  • Document EPB system configurations, processes, and procedures, provide end-user training and guidance on effective use of functionalities, and create user manuals and training materials for new features.
  • Ensure data confidentiality and compliance by managing security roles, permissions, and controls within EPB, and protect against unauthorized access to sensitive information.
  • Coordinate change requests and release cycles for EPB applications, conduct impact assessments for smooth deployment into production environments, and communicate updates effectively to stakeholders and end-users.
  • Collaborate with Oracle support teams or third-party vendors for issue resolution and escalation, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within EPB.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle EPM suite, including Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting.
  • 5+ years of EPB Cloud experience with Financials (Expenses, Revenue, Capex, Workforce, Project) modules.
  • Proficiency in data integration tools and techniques (e.g., FDMEE, Data Management, Data Exchange, Pipeline).
  • Strong proficiency of Oracle Hyperion Essbase concepts (ASO, BSO, Calculation Scripts, Load Rules).
  • Experience with data integration from other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP SAP, Workday, Databricks), validating and reconciling data to ensure integrity and accuracy.
  • Experience and proficiency in the creation of reports in Oracle Smart View, Financial reporting, and Narrative reporting.
  • Support stakeholders during month-end close activities and forecast/Budget cycles.
  • Proficient in using ticketing systems to log and monitor support tickets, escalate complex issues as necessary, and maintain clear communication with users regarding the status of their requests.
  • Demonstrated capability to identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements, actively participate in testing and validation of new features, and stay current with the latest Oracle EPM best practices and monthly updates.
