Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Duke Primary Care in Cary. The successful candidate will work closely with our healthcare team to provide direct patient care, perform routine administrative tasks, and ensure the smooth operation of our clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Take medical histories and record vital signs
  • Explain treatment procedures to patients and prepare them for examinations and procedures
  • Assist medical and nursing staff during examinations and procedures
  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
  • Perform basic laboratory tests in the clinic/office
  • Dispose of contaminated supplies and instruments
  • Perform other clinical functions as delegated and supervised by the physician
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Practical Nurse program
  • Current State of North Carolina LPN licensure
  • Ability to work collaboratively with patients and healthcare staff
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
