Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at GA MedGroup. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and document patient condition, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Operate oxygen equipment, suction machines, and other medical devices, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
  • Administer medications, including insulin, PRN medications, and narcotic medications, in accordance with established procedures.
  • Deliver enemas, insert and irrigate catheters, and provide tube feedings, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
  • Collect lab specimens, interpret results, and implement IV therapy, as needed.
  • Provide oversight and direction to unlicensed nursing personnel, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
  • Document and bill supplies used, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
  • Participate in patient screening and selection process, as requested.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing Services in coordinating care planning and committee meetings.
Requirements
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or graduate of an approved RN program.
  • Active RN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
  • Proficient in using a computer, especially Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills, with effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
