Night Shift Details:

Candidates must adhere to a 75-mile radius rule. Minimum qualifications include 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 travel assignment, or 4 years of experience without travel.

Selected candidates will participate in an interview with a Medical Solutions RN.

All notes and profiles will be forwarded to the client, with confirmation from the staffing office typically within 20 minutes.

Facility Overview:

This role is associated with a healthcare facility that features a 483-bed main campus and a 124-bed north campus.

Certifications Required:

BLS, ACLS, ASLS, NIHSS (ICU/ED)


Additional certifications include BLS, ASLS or NIHSS (Med/Surg), and EMR proficiency in Meditech.

Charge Nurse Responsibilities:

Charge Nurse for all units, with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. Nurse aides and OB techs are available, with a general CNA ratio of 1:8, and at times 1:10, including 1:1 assignments and sitters.

Weekend and Call Requirements:

Weekend shifts are required every other week, with low census on-call duties.

Holiday Schedule:

Holidays will be rotated with permanent staff.

Scrub Color:

Caribbean Blue

Telemetry:

Yes, monitored across various units.

Ventilation Support:

BIPAP and CPAP available, primarily at night, along with vapotherm and Draeger systems.

Specialist Availability:

An OB/Neonatologist is on-site.

IV Team:

No dedicated IV team, but PICC is available 24/7.

Pharmacy Services:

Pharmacy operates 24/7.

Shift Information:

Shifts are 12 hours long, with C-section experience required.

Floating Requirements:

Nurses may be required to float between units.

Orientation:

Floor-specific orientation is provided.

Common Patient Diagnoses:

Nurses may encounter a variety of diagnoses across different specialties.

Additional Notes:

MedSurg nurses may float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW. ICU/ED nurses may float to Cardiology, ICU, and ED. Flexibility with changing assignments during shifts is essential.
