As a Help Desk Agent, you will be responsible for identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems, as well as responding to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Help Desk support to customers for all areas related to Information Systems.
  • Enter and monitor all Help Desk calls in database, determine and assign category and priority levels, escalate problems.
  • Troubleshoot users' routine problems in order to identify solutions and/or type of support needed.
  • Monitors call status through to resolution and follow-up with end user to ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Play an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace and comply with all applicable safety and health rules.
Ideal Background:
  • General working knowledge of corporate used computer systems, enterprise software/applications, and networks.
  • Ability to use Help Desk software.
  • Working knowledge of current corporate PC-based desktop environments.
  • Ability to gain knowledge of total IS responsibilities and contacts.
  • Familiarity with the company's safety and health policy and program.
