Position Overview

Enterhealth stands as a prominent authority in the field of addiction treatment. The nursing staff at The Ranch plays a crucial role in delivering both initial and continuous clinical care to residents. Our nursing professionals are vital to fostering a collaborative care atmosphere that allows patients to concentrate on their recovery journey.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial evaluations in accordance with state regulations and nursing standards.
  • Develop, execute, and update individualized care plans for clients.
  • Engage in collaboration with clients, families, therapists, healthcare providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Administer prescribed medications accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate vital signs and patient conditions as necessary.
  • Provide educational resources regarding treatment to clients and their families.
  • Deliver care that is appropriate for different ages and cultural backgrounds.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.
  • Manage clinical records and documentation effectively.
  • Act as a supportive team member, offering guidance on patient monitoring and care within the scope of nursing practice.
  • Adhere to Standard Precautions and utilize personal protective equipment as required.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of and compliance with Enterhealth's policies and procedures.
  • Conduct admission evaluations, considering pre-admission information provided by the intake team.
  • Collaborate closely with the Admissions & Special Projects Director, Clinical Director, and Therapists to ensure suitable patient placements.
  • Work in conjunction with the medical team to prepare new patients for evaluations by Nurse Practitioners or Physicians.
  • Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) proficiently.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities related to nursing practices.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in appearance, attitude, and performance to support a positive community environment.
  • Support the mission, philosophy, and objectives of Enterhealth actively.
  • Safeguard the organization’s reputation by maintaining confidentiality of information.
  • Enhance the organization’s standing by taking ownership of new tasks and seeking opportunities to add value to job responsibilities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or the Director of Nursing.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Possess a current Texas nursing license - RN or LVN.
  • Hold a degree in Nursing.
