Job Title: Automotive General Manager

Sunwise Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive General Manager to lead our growing dealership group. Our team is dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience, and we're looking for a talented leader to help us achieve our goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the overall operation of our dealerships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Lead and motivate a team of department managers to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify business growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Manage and maintain a positive working relationship with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel.
  • Communicate management policies and procedures to all employees and ensure they are understood and followed.
  • Provide enthusiastic leadership to help shape employees' attitudes and build morale.
  • Hold regular meetings with department managers to ensure every department is operating efficiently and profitably.
  • Review and approve compensation plans for all employees.
  • Develop merchandising strategies and assist in creating effective, cost-efficient advertising programs.
  • Resolve any customer complaints that department managers are unable to rectify.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years progressive management experience in dealership operations or equivalent.
  • Consistent track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Extensive knowledge in dealer operations.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Goal-oriented, friendly personality, professional, and dependable.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license & clean driving record.
Compensation:

The General Manager Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Salary Compensation of between $7,500.00 and $15, The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

  • Annual Pay Range: $180,000 - $500,000. This position pays salary plus monthly bonus. Lots of income potential, strong & loyal customer base
