Role & Responsibilities:
An IT Service Desk (ITSD) agent at Ascendion is tasked with managing communications (calls, chats, requests) from employees and contractors facing IT challenges. The ITSD agent will leverage their expertise along with the team knowledgebase (KB) to address these challenges. The agent must efficiently handle multiple tasks, such as managing calls and chats concurrently, and should possess a solid understanding of MS Windows 10/11 Operating Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and oversee IT-related inquiries from Ascendion employees and contractors.
- Utilize the knowledgebase and personal expertise to resolve reported issues.
- Efficiently manage multiple inquiries during the shift.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MS Windows 10/11.
- Document user-reported problems in the Incident Management system (ServiceNow).
- Provide support for MS Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Maintain professionalism and clear communication with end users.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years in a comparable IT support role.
- Skills: Strong multi-tasking and time management abilities.
- Technical Knowledge: Intermediate troubleshooting skills for Windows devices.
- Soft Skills: Excellent phone etiquette, composed demeanor, and clear communication.
- Incident Management: Familiarity with incident management systems (ServiceNow preferred).
- MS Office 365: Proficiency in troubleshooting issues with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a financial services environment.
- Additional certifications in IT support or related fields.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $33,000- $37,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
