Key Responsibilities:
  • Route Management: Coordinate and manage daily route operations to ensure safe, cost-effective, and on-time performance.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and dispatch team members to resolve service issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and report on service quality, including radio, telephone, and on-road provision of service.
  • Employee Morale and Customer Service: Foster positive employee morale and provide exceptional customer service to maintain a high level of satisfaction.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete daily sign-in and sign-out records, assign trips to drivers, and monitor system performance.
  • Analysis and Review: Participate in the analysis and review of operating performance to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Experience: One year of previous dispatcher experience preferred, with two years of customer service experience also preferred.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Software Skills: Experience with Trapeze software a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain composure under pressure, and demonstrate a high level of customer service commitment.
