The El Paso Community College Cafe is seeking a qualified individual to provide instruction in Educational Psychology. This role is essential in aligning with the college's mission and educational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures that adhere to the approved course syllabus.
- Distribute the course syllabus to students, outlining requirements, objectives, and evaluation methods within the first week of classes.
- Employ diverse teaching strategies to accommodate students with varying educational backgrounds and learning preferences.
- Facilitate self-assessment opportunities for students to monitor their progress.
- Ensure students have ample opportunity to achieve course objectives.
- Submit syllabi and any necessary addendums to the Division Office promptly.
- Maintain regular office hours in accordance with institutional guidelines.
- Organize student evaluations of instruction and ensure submission to the designated office.
- Participate in faculty orientation and professional development activities to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Commit to ongoing professional growth and awareness.
- Support the community college's mission to serve the community effectively.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work, or a Master's degree with at least eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in these fields.
- Experience in teaching within the discipline.
- Ability to integrate technology into the educational environment.
- Experience teaching at the community college level.

- This position is part-time and contingent upon the needs of the college. Applications are accepted year-round from qualified candidates interested in part-time teaching opportunities.
