Floral Design Instructor

El Paso Community College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Floral Design Instructor to join our Continuing Education team. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction in floral design to students of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging and effective instructional materials and lessons in floral design
- Provide individualized support and feedback to students to ensure their success in the course
- Assess student learning and progress throughout the course
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in floral design
- Participate in faculty orientation and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Teaching experience in floral design or a related field
- Ability to incorporate technology into the classroom
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles
