About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the organization's safety program, including the handling of hazardous materials and conducting regular fire, disaster, and emergency drills.
  • Develop and implement inspection schedules, anticipate maintenance and equipment needs, and communicate findings to the Facility Manager.
  • Conduct routine heating and air conditioning maintenance and repair, including filter changes, coil cleaning, and motor maintenance.
  • Perform general repair and maintenance tasks, including plumbing and electrical work.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and codes in accordance with safety and security policies and procedures.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Knowledge of high school level reading, writing, and arithmetic, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Building maintenance experience is preferred.
