Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Alaska Village Electric Cooperative, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable delivery of electricity to remote Alaskan communities.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work hands-on with diesel-powered equipment, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal functionality. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting inspections, servicing equipment, diagnosing issues, and completing repairs efficiently and effectively.
You will collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain accurate maintenance records. The position requires a commitment to working 10-hour days, 6 days a week, in order to meet the demands of maintaining critical equipment in remote Alaskan villages.
Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic will be key to excelling in this role.
