Industrial Analytical Chemist Role

CPS is seeking an experienced Industrial Analytical Chemist to join their corporate site and work in a state-of-the-art facility.

This role will support the company's commitment to Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality Improvement by providing advanced analytical chemistry services in the Corporate Technical Service Lab.

The position will contribute to CPS's corporate culture of excellence and work collaboratively with a team of chemists to provide advanced analytical chemistry support to the company's Global Manufacturing locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operation and routine maintenance of multiple Gas Chromatographs, Mass Spec, BID, FID, TCD, SCD.
  • Operation and routine maintenance of HPLC and Ion Chromatographs.
  • Operation and routine maintenance of multiple UV-VIS and Infrared Spectrophotometers.
  • Operation and routine maintenance of ICP-OES Spectrometer.
  • Wet Chemistry methods, including gravimetric, titration, separation, distillation, precipitation, colorimetric, and other methods.
  • Preparing summary reports of analyses.
