Position Overview

JRC Integrated Systems, Inc. is in search of a dedicated Advanced Weapons Systems Specialist to contribute to the research and development initiatives of advanced weaponry systems. This role will focus on systems engineering integration and testing efforts, delivering engineering-based solutions to the technical division of Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with program management leaders and technical experts at NSWC Crane. Your contributions will be vital in providing systems engineering support and installation testing services for various technical programs. You will leverage your expertise to formulate strategies and plans that promote the sustained growth and development of the advanced weapons system testing program. A deep understanding of NSWC Crane's and SSP's operational culture and practices will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute shipyard installation testing services to support SSP's advanced weaponry program, including test documentation, requirements management, system-level test support, report generation, and test metrics tracking.
  • Manage data and information effectively.
  • Assist in the configuration management of testing protocols.
  • Support the resolution of testing challenges and system-level interface management.
  • Review and engage with weapon system models utilizing SYSML.
  • Gather and prepare program status updates and metrics for senior leadership and external reporting.
  • Coordinate with program stakeholders, including other contractors and partners.
  • Provide technical insights and contribute to the creation of program documentation.
  • Develop and review technical documents for accuracy, including comprehensive Microsoft Excel files.
  • Ensure compliance with Navy manual formatting for specifications, directives, and correspondence.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • An Active SECRET Security Clearance (or higher) or a security clearance held within the last 2 years.
  • Proficient technical writing, documentation, and Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation development abilities.
  • Familiarity with schedule development and assessment.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Capability to understand and meet customer requirements.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 10%).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), MagicDraw, and/or Cameo.
