Job Summary

As an Electronic Technician at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a critical role in the assembly and fabrication of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components or equipment. Your expertise will be essential in conducting tasks such as operating mechanical machinery, calibrating equipment, and utilizing power tools and electronic tooling. You will apply industry and organizational knowledge to programs and projects, leveraging standard policies and procedures to complete assignments. This position requires a strong understanding of electronic component fabrication and assembly, as well as the ability to analyze engineering drawings to determine fabrication requirements and layout of electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assembly and fabrication of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components or equipment
  • Operate mechanical machinery, calibrate equipment, and utilize power tools and electronic tooling
  • Apply industry and organizational knowledge to programs and projects
  • Analyze engineering drawings to determine fabrication requirements and layout of electronic assemblies

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as an electrical technician
  • Experience with electronic assembly fabrication, including wiring harnesses, electronic circuit boards, and integration of electronic components
  • Knowledge of electronic component fabrication and assembly
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with building multi-level circuit boards
  • Knowledge of the design of electronic systems and components
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with client engineers
  • J-STD or IPC 610/620 certification

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
