Job Summary

The OTG Host at DCA plays a critical role in our company's transformation of the airport experience. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a warm and friendly environment that leaves a lasting impression on our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests at the entrance of our establishments and ensure a seamless check-in process.
  • Show guests to their table and present menus, providing a personalized experience.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly front door area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintain a solid product knowledge, ensuring that guests are informed about our offerings.
  • Evenly manage the workload between servers, providing support when needed.
  • Aid servers, when necessary, while maintaining a watchful eye on the entrance to the restaurant.
  • Communicate guest concerns and complaints to managers immediately, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, well-groomed appearance, reflecting the high standards of our brand.
  • Maintain knowledge of airport, terminal, and restaurants, offering information and recommendations to guests.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must remain alert and positive throughout their entire shift, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Must know the restaurant's menu and floor plan, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
  • Must have the ability to enthusiastically introduce the iPad and answer any questions, providing a personalized experience.
  • Must be fully conversational in English, ensuring effective communication with guests.
  • Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, meeting the physical demands of the role.
  • Must be able to work varied hours/days, nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather conditions, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
