  • Analyze prescription histories and medical records to assess risk levels.
  • Screen medication data pertinent to life insurance applications.
  • Evaluate high-risk medications and their combinations for potential impact on health assessments.
  • Assess adverse health information to classify risks accurately.
  • Identify off-label medication uses and their implications on underwriting decisions.
  • Screen applications for standard and substandard risk classifications.
  • Review health information related to add-ons and reinstatements.
  • Interpret MIB code data and report findings accordingly.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively throughout the underwriting process.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in life underwriting.
  • Strong understanding of life insurance principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with MIB reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to assess BMI and its relevance to underwriting.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in life underwriting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reviewing prescription histories and medical records.
