Director of Product Management - Policy Administration

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Product Management to lead our Policy Administration team. As a key member of our product organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Policy Administration System (PAS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a clear product vision and strategy for PAS, aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement new features and products, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and manage product roadmaps, OKRs, and metrics to measure product success.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of product managers, ensuring they have the necessary skills, resources, and support to succeed.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of product management experience in personal auto insurance, with a strong understanding of technical and business product management.
  • 5+ years of auto insurance industry experience, with a deep understanding of legacy auto insurance products and insurtech products.
  • Strong preference for hands-on experience in developing and overseeing requirements, managing workflows, and handling billing and transactions within the realm of personal auto insurance.
  • Demonstrated excellence in building and leading product development using remote teams, handling different cultural and time zone differences.
  • Experience in creating and delivering roadmaps to stakeholders and senior leadership, gaining consensus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to quickly absorb user needs and business concepts and effectively simplify and communicate them to the technical team.
