Role Summary
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care within the unit during their designated shift. The CNC collaborates with management to oversee nursing care, serving as a resource for staff and embodying the organization's values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate efficient admission and discharge processes to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Participate in evaluating the quality of care provided in collaboration with the management team.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork and improved patient outcomes.
  • Engage in service recovery initiatives to uphold a patient-first philosophy.
  • Assist in staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage staff scheduling and ensure compliance with productivity guidelines.
  • Oversee inventory control and the management of medical supplies.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in an ICU setting.
  • A degree from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A valid Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a Compact license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
