Job Title: Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Albany Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with our healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing and medical knowledge, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:

This role requires standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional bending, stooping, and reaching. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
