We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our Orthopedics & Spine Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Implement physician orders and administer medications as required
- Perform treatments, procedures, and special tests as needed
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
