New Story Schools is on the lookout for a skilled Special Education Support Assistant who will collaborate closely with Special Education instructors and Behavior Analysts to address the unique educational and self-care requirements of our students. This role involves providing support for students with Autism at Iron Forge Elementary, specifically for grades 3-5. This is a full-time opportunity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in executing the students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support students in the classroom and during special activities such as Physical Education, vocational training, and field excursions.
  • Apply effective behavior management techniques and strategies.
  • Monitor and document behavioral data to evaluate and track student progress.
