Job Summary

The Front Desk Coordinator will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. This role requires strong communication and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Welcome and Support
    • Welcome clients with friendly customer service, answering their questions and helping them to get what they need.
    • Refer clients to other shops if yours is too busy.
  • Scheduling and Sales
    • Schedule appointments strategically, always remembering to take calculated risks to maximize sales.
  • Customer Service and Support
    • Offer water or beer to all clients. All Shop Coordinators must be TABC certified and check ID for these transactions.
    • Complete accurate intake of all client information, ensuring the accuracy of the data. Maintain upkeep of client data including the merging of multiple accounts.
    • Process customer payment for services and products, ensuring accuracy throughout these transactions.
    • Prepare cash drawer, and handle cash/deposits during shift. Report/troubleshoot cash drawer discrepancies and hold responsibility for said discrepancies.
  • Shop Maintenance and Organization
    • Restock supplies and beverages, report shortages to the Senior Manager or Director.
    • Receive supply orders, input them into the system, and put them away.
    • Launder, fold, and re-stock towels and capes. Prepare and replenish hot towels.
    • Ensure shop cleanliness at all times & maintain the shop cleaning duties checklist.
  • Performance Feedback and Support
    • Provide consistent feedback to the Shop Director about staff performance, tardiness, absences, etc.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service experience (preferred)
