Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Chinook Systems, Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will apply your technical expertise to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions for mission-critical infrastructure, systems, and equipment.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations of intelligent, cyber secure, code compliant, and energy efficient building systems. You will be responsible for specifying functional requirements, designing, testing, analyzing, integrating, and evaluating overall design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree and 0 - 2 years of experience. Key skills include proficiency in business tools such as database applications, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, CAD, BIM, Energy Management, and Modeling. Additional qualifications include excellent verbal and written skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and creativity, motivation, persistence, and versatility.

Responsibilities

  • Assess specific requirements and delineate appropriately engineered designs
  • Develop preliminary and final design plans, engineering specifications, cost estimates, and procurement packages
  • Design, analyze, configure, test, and troubleshoot systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 0 - 2 years of experience
  • Proficiency in business tools such as database applications, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, CAD, BIM, Energy Management, and Modeling
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and multiple priorities
  • Expertise in MS Office and graphics/publishing software
  • Creativity, motivation, persistence, and versatility
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style
  • Demonstrated commitment to high professional standards

Estimated Salary: $82,000 per year
