We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to join our team at Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of all meeting and event spaces, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up, refresh, and tear down meeting spaces to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space, and storage areas.
- Organize and maintain the banquet storeroom, ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Transport and store tables, chairs, and other equipment as needed.
- Refresh meeting rooms as required to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Notify management of any hazards or concerns that may impact the safety and well-being of our guests and staff.
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or related experience in a hotel or a related field.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and staff at all levels.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure seamless event execution.
As a Banquet Houseperson at Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA, you will enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $22.50-$30.00, depending on experience.
