Salary: Based on Experience

Position Summary:
The primary role involves ensuring the optimal functionality of machinery and auxiliary equipment to support production activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment to ensure seamless operation.
- Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in production processes.
- Communicate effectively with team leaders and supervisors regarding any operational issues to uphold product quality and timely reporting of interventions.
- Ensure compliance with product quality specifications through necessary adjustments on plastic injection molding machinery, documenting all interventions appropriately.
- Execute tooling changes, production modifications, and maintenance of tooling.
- Possess knowledge of and maintain systems including water, plastic resin conveying, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Availability for overtime and weekend shifts as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Supervisory Role:
No direct supervisory responsibilities; must work effectively within a self-directed team environment.

Qualifications:
Prior experience in maintenance within machining, plastic processing, or millwright roles is essential. A college degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.

Communication Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and follow instructions. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaboration with team members and participation in meetings. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and diagrams is required.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to apply mathematical formulas and concepts in mechanical and production quality contexts.

Reasoning Skills:
Capability to identify and respond to problems, assess variations and imperfections, gather data, establish facts, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently
- Ability to push or pull up to 60 lbs occasionally
- Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, squatting, or crawling in confined spaces
- Frequent use of hands for gripping, pinching, handling, reaching, or feeling
- Continuous standing and frequent walking
- Good physical condition and manual dexterity are essential.

Work Environment:
The work environment may require hearing protection as per OSHA standards due to noise levels. Steel-toed footwear is mandatory to mitigate safety risks. Personal protective equipment such as hair nets and safety glasses will be provided.
