Job Title: Industrial Electrician - Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
Aerotek is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician - Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician - Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance and troubleshooting tasks in a heavy industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on 12v-480v and 3 phase systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in the plant, including circuits, motors, lighting, control boxes/panels, machine controls, and more
- Perform minor mechanical work on conveyors, gears, and bearings
- Assist with special installations and projects
- Understand and interpret drawings and schematics
Requirements:
- Industrial Electrical Maintenance experience
- Knowledge of motors, sensors, switches, photo eyes, and other electrical components
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Experience with 12v-480v electric and 3 phase systems
- Knowledge of circuits, breakers, panels, PLCs, VFDs, and other electrical systems
Work Environment:
This is a fully on-site position in a heavy industrial environment. The employee will be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
