Job Summary:

This position requires a graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN) with current appropriate State licensure. We prefer one year medical-surgical nursing experience, hemodialysis experience, or ICU experience, but it's not required. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, performing dialysis procedures, monitoring treatment parameters, and educating patients and families about end-stage renal disease and dialysis therapy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing dialysis procedures as prescribed.
  • Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Develop and implement individualized teaching plans to educate patients and families about dialysis therapy, diet, and medications.
  • Participate in staff meetings, short-term and long-term patient care plan meetings, and ongoing education and training programs to stay up-to-date on best practices.
