We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to patients with complex medical conditions.

About the Job

This is a full-time position working 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. with 7-day per week availability, including weekend and holiday shifts. You will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities

As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Providing direct nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions">
  • Implementing and monitoring patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes">
  • Serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care">
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders">
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • ">
  • A valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain prior to hire date">
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date">
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (GN)">
  • 1 year of RN experience preferred">
