Medical Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physicians
- Schedule ultrasound cases to coordinate with other patient exams
- Prepare written documentation as required by the profession and ultrasound department policy
- Maintain records of exam data and other pertinent information on patients
- Use Radiology Information System, hospital information systems as required
- Maintain established hospital radiology and ultrasound policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards
- Assist in maintaining upkeep of department and equipment
Requirements:
- Two years radiology ultrasound specific college coursework, Associates Degree or Diploma Preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
