About the Role:- Full-time position with 40 hours per week
- First (1st) shift, Monday - Friday
- 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Supervise a major independent clinical psychology program
- Plan, develop, implement, and coordinate new service programs
- Schedule, assign, oversee, and review the work of staff
- Provide staff training and assistance
- Conduct performance evaluations
- Determine priorities and plan program work
- Establish and maintain program procedures
- Develop or make recommendations on development of policies and standards
- Act as liaison with other operating units, agencies, and outside officials regarding program policies and procedures
- Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology
- Two (2) years of postdoctoral experience as a licensed clinical psychologist
- Experience working with individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities of all age demographics
- Experience with positive behavior supports (PBS)
- Experience and skill presenting on relevant clinical topics
- Experience in supervisory and leadership roles
- Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders in written and verbal form
- Incumbents in this class must possess and retain a license to practice psychology in Connecticut
- Incumbents in this class must possess and maintain eligibility for participation in federal health care programs as defined in 42 U.S. § 1320a-7b(f)
