Additionally, this person will be responsible for managing other AR Specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the AR email inbox throughout the workday for new sales orders received and process accordingly
  • Respond to AR inbox inquiries related to client accounts, requests for invoice copies, and other customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with the Collections team to ensure cash is collected on past due accounts
  • Post daily payments received in the system
  • Build daily deposits from bank reconciliation and post in Netsuite
  • Follow up with the client base on any declined payment transactions
  • Review open accounts for collection efforts
  • Make outbound collection calls in a professional manner while maintaining and improving customer relations
  • Resolve client-billing problems and rescue accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely manner
  • Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates
  • Identify issues contributing to account delinquency and discuss with the Accounting team
  • Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements
  • Email correspondence to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' AR experience, including interaction with a large customer base
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks (Web & Desktop) or similar accounting software
  • Proficiency in Netsuite or similar ERP Software
