Job Summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking skilled Commercial Door Technicians and Installers to join our team in Houston, TX and surrounding areas. As a Commercial Door Technician and Installer, you will be responsible for repairing and installing a wide range of commercial doors and dock hardware, including overhead doors, rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, sectional doors, and dock levelers/equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Installation: Repair and/or install commercial doors and dock hardware, including overhead doors, rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, sectional doors, and dock levelers/equipment.
  • Customer Service: Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services that meet their needs.
  • Job Management: Track and maintain job-related paperwork and submit it in a timely manner.
  • Safety: Operate in a safety-conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights using a ladder.
  • Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
