Role Summary

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Certified Respiratory Care Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused respiratory care in line with departmental needs and professional standards. This role involves performing diagnostic tests, therapeutic procedures, and monitoring patients who require both invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a recognized vocational program.
  • State Certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Neonate Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 30 days of hire.
