Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage professionally with clients.

Desktop Support Experience:

  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server installation and upkeep.
  • Experience in Windows Server configuration, network maintenance, and application troubleshooting.

  • Effectively troubleshoot various application issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least two years of experience in IT with a solid understanding of networking, hardware, and software fundamentals.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • A genuine passion for technology and ongoing learning.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience in network consulting or managed service provision.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk systems.
  • Experience with server or software transitions.
  • Project ownership experience.
  • Able to mentor and train junior team members.

Technical Experience:

  • Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless networking.
  • Proficient in Windows Server management (Active Directory, HyperV, Clustering, DNS, DHCP, Terminal Server, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Security and Backup Tools (Azure Entra, SIEM, SOC, EDR, Bitdefender, Watchguard, VEEAM, Zerto, etc.).
  • Experience with ConnectWise Tools (Automate, Manage).
  • Support capabilities for Office 365 and SharePoint Online.

Certifications:

  • Technical certifications such as CompTIA, ITIL, and Microsoft certifications are advantageous.

Work Conditions:

  • Full-time salaried role, averaging 40 hours per week.
  • Standard working hours are 8:30 AM – 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Alternative schedules may be accommodated upon request.
  • Occasional weekend or after-hours work may be necessary.
  • Physical ability to lift equipment weighing up to 55 pounds.
