Job Title: Physician Assistant - ENT Specialist

The Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) is a leading healthcare provider in the Hudson Valley region. We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Department of Otolaryngology at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual with excellent clinical decision-making, exposure to quality-of-care measures, and strong procedural skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year's in-hospital experience and be licensed in New York.

The Department of Otolaryngology utilizes Physician Assistants as part of a multidisciplinary team providing advanced, high-quality healthcare. Our PAs undergo training in all aspects of Otolaryngology, including pediatric ENT, neurotology, laryngology, head & neck cancer, rhinology, and skull-base surgery.

The successful candidate will be expected to cover Otolaryngology primary and consult patients in all ICUs (neonatal, pediatric, and adult) and on the floors. They will also attend Departmental educational activities, including Grand Rounds and didactics, and work side-by-side with Otolaryngology Residents, Medical Students, and PA students in both the inpatient setting and the operating room.

Responsibilities:

  • Inpatient and emergency room consults
  • Care and coordination throughout a patient's hospital stay
  • Discharge planning and coordinating
  • Work alongside a team of attending physicians, residents, medical students, and physician assistant students
  • This position has a variable schedule with nights required
