Job Responsibilities

This Senior Software Engineer will lead technical efforts in software product development and technology programs targeting software integration and verification. Key responsibilities include:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide expertise in software design, development, and testing, ensuring alignment with approved architecture and engineering processes.
  • Client Relationships: Represent Tangram Flex with clients, articulating project requirements, outlining expectations, and collaborating with the team to achieve commitments.
  • Design and Development: Review and influence ongoing design and development to support end-to-end life cycle, including internal and external resources.
  • Problem-Solving: Respond to and resolve emergent problems in all aspects of production.
  • Team Mentorship: Innovate and mentor a team of engineers, lead teams on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal and external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

  • 8-10 years of experience: In software product development, with technical leadership roles such as Principal Investigator or Technical Director.
  • C/C++ programming skills: Expert-level proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
  • Security Clearance: Possess a current or recent U.S. Government Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
