Software Engineering Team Lead

About the Role:
At L3 Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for research, design, and development of computer software systems, working closely with cross-functional members of the engineering organization. You will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test of software products.
We are looking for a technical leader who can apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the target application. If you have broad experience across multiple job areas and are recognized as an internal expert and thought leader in your area of expertise, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system
* Contribute to determining, estimating, and validating the cost and scope of software efforts to ensure software performed meets program cost, schedule, and technical constraints
* Communicate within and outside of the organization to influence leadership to accept new practices, approaches, and concepts
* Develop or champion new systems, concepts, or technologies
* Recommend tactics and strategies that directly impact the achievement of overall business or functional results
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 12 years of prior related experience
* Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance
* Requires mastery level knowledge within a specific technical area or multiple job areas
