Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Health Director to join our team at LifeLong Medical Care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our behavioral health services, ensuring high-quality care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive behavioral health programs and services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Supervise and manage a team of licensed therapists, associate therapists, behavioral health clinical workers, and recovery support counselors, providing clinical and administrative supervision and guidance.
  • Collaborate with psychiatry providers to ensure seamless integration of behavioral health services with medical care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure access to behavioral health services for our patients.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to improve services and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments, applying knowledge to inform program development and improvement.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling.
  • Experience in supervision of social service support staff and leadership roles in behavioral health programs.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health and psychosocial issues, particularly in a low-income, ethnically diverse patient population.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
