* Develop and implement food service policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
* Supervise and train dietary staff to ensure excellent customer service and food quality
* Manage food budgets and inventory to ensure cost-effective programs
* Collaborate with residents, facility staff, and physicians to ensure personalized dietary needs are met
* Ensure safe food handling and preparation practices, adhering to HACCP guidelines
* Participate in menu planning and special nourishment programs
* Maintain accurate records and reports, including MDS sections and diet cards
Requirements:
* Graduate of a 2 or 4 year Dietary Manager's Program or Registered Dietician
* Successful completion of Certified Dietary Manager exam
* Prior experience in healthcare foodservice preferred
* Two years' experience in foodservice management required
Physical Demands:
* Regularly required to effectively communicate
* Rarely required to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
