Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in producing accurate and reliable images that aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and reliable imaging results
  • Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding throughout the imaging process
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • ARDMS - registered required RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR); or ARRT registered R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RVT(VT) with OB or ABD required within 1 year or hire, or ARRT registered - R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required
  • Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly
