Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to our multidisciplinary team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations, interpreting images, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound examinations using various modalities, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular sonography.
- Interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in sonography.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State licensure if required by law.
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
