Job Summary

This is a remote opportunity with a required visit to the facility at minimum 1x per month or once every other month. The facility is located in Toledo, Ohio.

The Physician shall provide professional services to residents of skilled nursing facilities as directed by Tapestry from time to time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Director Services - 8 hours per month
  • Provide medical and procedural consultation for residents of the Facility in accordance with all applicable Facility policies and Federal, State and/or Local laws, rules and regulations
  • Advise the Facility Administrator of concerns and opportunities regarding the Facility's scope of services and the need to develop or procure future resident care programs, medical equipment and its professional and support staff
  • Availability to facility 24/7 for emergencies
  • Attend QA and/or QAPI monthly meetings at least 10 months of year
  • Assist in the development of clinical pathways designed to improve care of residents
  • Assist facility in marketing efforts as requested
  • Assist the facility in working with its other attending and assuring the highest quality of care to the residents and patients
Requirements

The Medical Director shall have the necessary qualifications and experience to perform the duties of the position.
