Job Summary

Theoria Medical is seeking a skilled Physician to serve as Medical Director for our skilled nursing facilities. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosing and treating patients with acute and chronic illnesses
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including nurse practitioners and physician assistants, to develop and implement care plans
  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to facility policies and procedures
  • Participate in facility-wide quality improvement initiatives and committees
Requirements
  • Board certification in a relevant medical specialty
  • Current medical licensure in the state where the facility is located
  • Experience in post-acute care, preferably in a skilled nursing facility setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
