Job Title: Claims Processor

Crystal Stairs, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Claims Processor to join our team. As a Claims Processor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of provider claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process attendance records and provider payment requests in accordance with department quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with providers, parents, and CSI staff to resolve payment authorization issues and answer inquiries.
  • Assist with data entry and processing of claims, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with case managers to resolve payment authorization issues and contribute to a team atmosphere by participating in staff meetings and training.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; AA/AS Degree in Accounting, Business, or Human Services preferred.
  • Minimum of two years experience processing claims, billing, or adjustment payments required.
  • Strong customer service, organization, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent data entry and processing skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations and work with diverse groups.
  • Technical proficiencies in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
