Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at the AMEX Centurion Lounge. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities and events, project and move management, and vendor relations. You will work closely with our staff members to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management Duties: Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team; communicate effectively with staff members; conduct performance reviews; and take personal responsibility for the Facility team's success.
  • Office Services: Organize and manage daily activities and events; coordinate projects and moves; develop office standards and policies; manage vendor contracts; assist with new hire orientation; communicate events or service announcements; create a monthly newsletter; and maintain intranet pages.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors; coordinate services with outside vendors; monitor performance and quality levels; and research new vendors to enhance our offerings.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of the facility; develop emergency response plans; comply with all local regulatory requirements; serve as the after-hours contact for property management; and train office personnel on emergency procedures.
  • Purchasing and Reporting: Manage and track financial reports, attendance, payroll, inventory, service reports, and accomplishments.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in facilities services or a related field.
  • Able to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
  • Hands-on ability to perform minor maintenance tasks.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Resourcefulness in locating and negotiating with contractors.
  • Experience working with outside vendors, accounts payable/receivable, and budget management preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
