Your responsibilities
- Act as an extension of the divisional teams, proactively engaging and leading discussions to address challenges and implement enhancements.
- Execute essential month-end closing activities for our divisions, ensuring journal entries and reconciliations are completed promptly and accurately in accordance with Corporate policies.
- Implement SOX internal controls related to revenue recognition and reserves, deferred revenue, lease accounting, intangible impairment analysis, and contingent consideration.
- Prepare quarterly SEC reporting schedules.
- Conduct and present monthly financial statement reviews.
- Influence divisional leaders by effectively conveying ideas, recommendations, and insights to drive positive change and achieve organizational objectives.
- Propose and execute process enhancements to ensure integrity and efficiency while promoting consistency across our US-based divisions.
- Assist with GAAP research and the preparation of accounting position memos, e.g., ASC 606 and 842.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4+ years of experience in a related field.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, with experience in researching and applying GAAP preferred.
- CPA / Big 4 experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management and Blackline software preferred.
The candidate will need to reside within a reasonable commuting distance to our location. We typically work in the office 2 days a week and remotely on the other days.
Travel Percentage: 10%
