Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coordinator, Anesthesia Services to join our team at Emory University Hospital. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Anesthesia Instrumentation/Monitoring Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure efficient and timely services.
  • Supervise staff members by providing leadership, guidance, and training to maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor and direct workflow to ensure compliance with quality control standards and take corrective action as needed.
  • Resolves Human Resource-related issues, interviews, and hires staff to ensure a skilled and dedicated team.
  • Oversees the purchase of expendable laboratory and monitoring supplies and makes recommendations for capital equipment purchases.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in General Sciences/Technology or a related field and one year of pertinent experience in anesthesia or perioperative area, or five years of pertinent experience in anesthesia or perioperative area.
  • Must have one year of experience in a leadership role.
