Anesthesia Technologist

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and care of patients undergoing anesthesia procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and support equipment in all anesthetizing locations, including invasive hemodynamic monitoring lines.
- Test equipment to ensure proper operating condition and perform lower-level troubleshooting.
- Ensure availability of expendable laboratory and monitoring supplies by inspecting inventories and initiating purchase requisitions.
- Respond to emergency service requests made after regular working hours on a rotating basis.
- Take required precautions in keeping with JCAHO, organizational, and other safety guidelines when working with electrical equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Three (3) years of work experience as an Anesthesia Technician or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
